problems whatsoever. everything is moving along and it will remain this way as you get on the jfx and head downtown. it's going to take 12 minutes to travel southbound from the beltway all the way to east fayette street and everything is up to speed through the fort mchenry tunnel. looking at an 8 minute ride northbound from the beltway to the toll plaza. that's a look at your morning commute now over to you. two university of maryland college park students are dead and another is in the hospital. the suspect dayvon green shot both house mates before turning the gun on himself. sherrie johnson is here with more on the young man believed to have perpetrated the ordeal. >> reporter: there are unanswered questions and we know dayvon green has ties to baltimore. his family lives in the rosedale area and he attended morgan state university for his undergraduate degree. his family says he suffered from mental illness. police have not released information on his illness or what medication he was taking. university of maryland official say green was not treated for

mental illness at their health care facilities. nor were university officials aware of his condition. police in prince george's county say he killed one of his roommates and injured another before killing himself outside of their college park home. all three were stewed antithe university of harold greene was a graduate student. now police say the 9 millimeter handgun used in the killing was bought legally. and the atf is looking into a stash of weapons he had including a loaded semiautomatic gun. he was a honor student and attended morgan state university for undergraduate studies. classmates say they never saw signs of mental illness. >> he didn't seem like the kind of person that would hurt people e wasn't that kind of individual e was not aggressive and didn't -- he wasn't aggressive and didn't have problems of rage. you can't force someone to tell you what's wrong inside. you can't. >> reporter: the atf is trying to determine how he bought his

this is what we can expect in terms of what's going on outside. we have those clouds increasing and they will continue to do so as we go throughout the day. and all this is courtesy of the area of low pressure moving in and once it does that, it's going to be bringing the rain with it and then that will switch all over to snow as we go through the evening and into tomorrow morning. so because of that, the national weather service has issued a winter weather advisory that goes into effect at 7 until 3:00 but basically foresees i will county -- for cecil county. as we step out we will be dealing with the clouds dry weather but mostly cloudy skies by lunchtime. by 3, 45 and the mix comes by 7. let's check the abc2 timesaver traffic with lauren cook. >> reporter: it's going to be too warm for that snow to actually lay on the roads. it will probably lay on the grass. if you are traveling downtown this morning, we have construction that's blocking south grain street. you will want to stick with packa or penn street.

everything is up to speed through the fort mchenry tunnel and harbor tunnel. but there's lot of congestion on the west side of the beltway. a live look at old court road is going to take an extra five minutes to travel the outer loop from 795 down to 70. the inner loop will be nice and clear as you make the push up to 83. speaking of 83, here's live look in hunt valley at shawan road. no delays traveling from the maryland pennsylvania state line down to the beltway and once you get on the jfx, it will take 12 minutes to get downtown to east fayette street. that's a look at your abc2 timesaver traffic. now over to you. 6:46. we are following breaking news. the search for a former a l.a. police officer wanted for multiple murders may be over. hunt for christopher dorner may have ened in a burning cabin notice -- ended with a burning cabins in the woods. what do they know about who was in the home. >> reporter: they know a -- >> they know a body was found in the charred remains. that was confirmed about four hours ago but an identity has

not been revealed. should it be chris dorner, this will conclude the biggest manhunt for the most wantedamerican in america in sometime. we habeen talking -- there has been talk he fled to mexico. he's former member of the navy and is believed to have killed four people since last wednesday including the daughter of a l.a. police officer and her fiancee and two officers. police alerted -- were alerted to his possible whereabouts after reports of a stolen truck and this was a brazen stolen truck because it was right across the street from the command center in big bear lakes. after a shootout with deputieshe killed one officer and injured another, that's where the stand off began. hours after police tried to get him to surrender, they reported a single gunshot inside the cabin and it began to burn. >> it is painful for every

person associated with the law enforcement family. across southern california they have been working closely for the last six days. >> there was confusion overnight because of conflinting reports about -- conflicting reports about whether anyone was found inside the cabin. la p pd and san bernardino county pd both held -- lapd and san bernardino county pd both held separate news conference and released different information. that has been cleared up. someone has been fond but we don't know if it's christopherdorner. his anger goes back five years when he was fired for filing a false police report accusing his training officer of kicking someone who was mentally ill. dorner claimed was a victim of racism at that time. and he did this, he said, to clear his name and right the wrongs against him. >> thanks. we will continue to -- we will continue to stay on top of this story. it's where officers go to learn how to protect us but for one trainee, a training session land him in the hospital and he

is fighting for his life. linda so is live at shock trauma. i know you've been outside the hospital for sometime updating his condition. what do we know right now? >> reporter: well, this officer underwent surgery last night and he remains in stable but grave condition at shock trauma a lot of unanswered questions this morning. in the meantime, police commissioner has suspended all training exercises until this investigation is complete. the officer trainee was shot by a baltimore city police instructor during a training exer sneeze owings mills yesterday after -- exercise in owings mills yesterday after a training session. the injured officer works for the university maryland as a campus police officer. he is in his 40s and this was his first police job he started only in july. the chief surgeon here says the officer is in very grave condition. >> he is stable but any thoughts or predicts about long-

traffic with lauren cook. >> reporter: good morning. tomorrow's commute could be tricky. so i will track the delays. right now we have our fair share of problems dealing with a lot of congestion on 795. it's going to take you 15 minutes to travel southbound from westminster pike down to the beltway. and 695 is going to be in pretty bad shape here at old court road. looking at an extra 5 minutes but it's still building to travel the outer loop from 795 down to 70. and here in parkville, it's a different story. no problems whatsoever traveling the inner loop down to 95. and the outer loop will be sluggish up to towson. 83 in hunt valley and no delays whatsoever from shawan to the beltway. >> looks good about now but maybe later this afternoon the weather will change a little bit. >> i know. on facebook this morning we have been debating snow throughout the course of the day on good morning maryland. renee no snow. terry snow big snow and one good snow just more than 6 inches. >> they want a blizzard.
